Hij komt voor in de Saiyan-saga en wordt bevochten na de strijd met de saibamannen. Hij wordt met gemak verslagen door Goku in zijn Kaioken-trance vlak voordat hij Krillin en Gohan wil doden. Nappa wordt als straf voor zijn nederlaag gedood door Vegeta, waardoor er op dat moment nog maar twee volbloed-saiyans overgebleven zijn.

- Nappa (ナッパ) is an antagonist in the Dragon Ball manga, and in the anime Dragon Ball Z, also making short appearances in Dragon Ball GT. He is an elite Saiyan warrior from Planet Vegeta, and Vegeta's partner in combat. Prior to the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Nappa was the General of the Saiyan Army under the Galactic Frieza Army and aid/partner to the young Prince Vegeta as well. After his race's demise, he along with Vegeta and Raditz worked as soldiers directly under Frieza, which lead him to Earth.

- Nappa was resurrected by Vegeta who turned Majin once again but this time he had the power of Super saiyan 28, therefore the name 'Majin 28' on his forehead, which is almost five times stronger than Goku Super Saiyan 5. Bobadi , son of Babidi, turned Nappa into a Majin and gave him the power of a SSJ 4. Later , he was taught the technique of spirit bomb as he had a pure evil heart , by collecting all negative and positive energy of the universe.
