- The Luna-class was a class of deep space exploration ships produced by Starfleet from 2378 and on. They utilize some of the most advanced Federation technology available as well as boasting an impressive top speed of Warp 9.992 which can be held for sixteen hours. The first flight was completed by November 2379 and the second flight completed in March 2381.
- Luna-class starships were exploration cruisers introduced in 2378, and quickly became the top of the line in the Federation Starfleet's scientific and exploratory pursuits on behalf of the United Federation of Planets.
