Fans were allowed to submit their websites for addition provided they did not contain profanity. On September 13, 1999, the site went through its first new look; the second occurred on July 1, 2001. On October 31, 2008, AOL Hometown permanently went offline, taking with it the Redwall Links.

  • The Redwall Links was founded by Mackinsie (previously known as Baby Dumble, AGM) in 1997 to bring Redwall fans a compilation of the best known Redwall sites on the Internet. Fans were allowed to submit their websites for addition provided they did not contain profanity. On September 13, 1999, the site went through its first new look; the second occurred on July 1, 2001. In celebration of its 5th anniversary online, the Redwall Links underwent a final makeover on May 5, 2003, which is how the site continued to look for the rest of its existence, despite the announcement of a forthcoming makeover in May 2007 which never occurred. On October 31, 2008, AOL Hometown permanently went offline, taking with it the Redwall Links.
