  • A Spectator is a player who has decided not to take part in the game and just watch, or has lost all of their lives (Zombie, Survival Mode). They can freely travel through the map in noclip, but cannot interact with the map (using switches, breaking barricades etc. They can, however, still contact players through voice chat or through text. A "cheating" technique used by some teams is to have a spectator keep tabs on who is where and what they're doing (e.g. telling a group of Survivors who are inside a room with many entrances where the Zombies are coming from, or where they can go next.
  • A spectator was an extraplanar form of beholderkin with four eyestalks. Somewhat mild and even-tempered, they had even been known to form friendships with other creatures, a trait that no other beholderkin or true beholder ever displayed.
  • Spectator is a beholder that appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. Spectator is first met in City of Caverns, where he's guarding a chest containing Sekolah's Tooth. He is bored of his assignment so it is possibile to take the treasure without battling him. He is met again later in Sendai's Enclave. He will suggest that Captain Egeissag challenge the protagonist to a one-on-one fight.
