The Battle of Tudela was a military conflict of the Peninsular War fought on 23 November 1808, near Tudela, Spain. The battle resulted in the complete victory of the French and Poles under Marshal Lannes against the Spanish under General Castaños. 33,000 Spanish soldiers fought against 30,000 French and Polish soldiers but were severely defeated.
