Enderby beat Vernon 7 goals to 4. The interior towns were where the interest in intermediate teams was the strongest. These towns, which were very small at this time, did not have any artificial ice rinks, which were very expensive. A warm spell ended the season prematurely. The only artificial ice rink was in Vancouver. Had the playoffs been held there, the travel expenses would have been high and the attendance low.
