| - The Raid on Hades was a minor engagement between the New Republic, Galactic Empire and Sith Empire that resulted in the release of several prominent galactic figures. In 15 ABY, Imperial Supreme Commander Danik Kreldin attempted to overthrow The Emperor. The plan was foiled and Kreldin captured; he was declared executed by Imperial press releases, but in actuality was transferred to Hades, the Empire's top-secret dungeon ship. Sandor Woden would later be transferred here in the wake of his capture at the hands of Jorj Brinaj. The dungeon ship would later be folded into the Sith Empire at the Emperor's behest, with Darth Malign overseeing it. It would follow a routine path between Trandosha and Rhen Var, two prominent worlds of the Sith Empire. In 18 ABY, Krieg Inrokana discovered that Sandor Woden was kept on this ship and, seeking to release the famed warrior for his own purposes, launched a rescue operation lead by Lanil Jast. The Imperials launched their attack during one of the dungeon ship's stop points; distress signals from Hades were picked up by the New Republic, who dispatched its newly-minted flagship, Viscount. Inside the dungeon ship, Imperial Stormtroopers fought their way to the brig, seeking to release Woden; in a strange turn of events, Republic Marines, also infiltrating, aided the Stormtroopers in fighting their common enemy. During the break-out, Jast discovered the cell of Kreldin. Surprised at seeing his old friend alive, Jast immediately had Kreldin released, who, while badly emaciated, began escaping with the Imperials. The Republicans also discovered a surprise of their own: Jan Dodonna, alive and well, who had not been seen since the Battle of Yavin. During the confusion of the escape, Kreldin was separated from his Imperial comrades, and instead wound up in the hands of a Republic Marine, who whisked him away, along with Dodonna, aboard the Republic shuttle. The shuttle departed and escaped to Viscount, while the Imperials, with a successful extraction of Woden, returned to Imperial space.
