Grocero (born 1938) is a drug dealer in Cartagena, Colombia, and the cousin of retired smuggler Roberto Morales. When Vice cops James "Sonny" Crockett and Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs arrive there with the intent to buy $1 million of cocaine to smuggle back to Miami, Grocero was their contact (since Tubbs was the "cousin" of Morales), but refused to deal with them until Tubbs was arrested by the policia, after which Chief Todo read Tubbs' false file and found he was truthful (and a very bad man) and arranged a deal with Grocero. Grocero met Crockett and Tubbs in a smoke-filled room to complete the deal, beforehand the drug dealer brought a sample in the shape of an "M" in tribute of Tubbs' "family".
