(Star Trek: First Contact) In 2375, Daniels was present on the Enterprise-E's mission to the Ba'ku planet to investigate Data's malfunction. When it became clear that a forced relocation of the Ba'ku was in progress, Daniels remained on the Enterprise when it journeyed to the edge of the Briar Patch to send a message to Starfleet to get them to withdraw their support. Daniels took part in the battle with the pursuing Son'a ships and advised Commander Riker against using the ramscoops to collect unstable metreon gas. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
