After the other members of Seiso return back to the Linden Hall Dormitory, Daichi tells everyone that Ritsu cannot take part in the semifinals due to certain unforeseen circumstances and that Kanade might have to take Ritsu's place in playing the first violin at the National Concours Semi-finals. But when Ritsu gets discharged from the hospital, he surprises everyone by saying that Kyoya will be the one playing the first violin in his place, which upsets Kyouya and he doesn't seem too happy with the new twist of events.
