- The nineteenth season of the television series first aired on 21st September 2015 in the UK and on 13th October 2015 in the US.
- The nineteenth of The Simpsons originally aired from September 23, 2007, to May 18, 2008. This is the first season produced after The Simpsons Movie and contains seven hold-over episodes from season 18's JABF production line.

- Season 19 was the first season in 7 years where Tmo Bakor was not the Doctor, ergo it was the first shit season of Doctor Who ever. Twas the second season of the JNT era, and it starred Peter David's Son as the dashing, breathless, constantly fainting, using-celery-as-a-dildo Fifth Doctor, and three other people as Four's orphaned children that Five had to adopt. This season's not exactly terrible, but it's a huge step backwards from Season 18, and many would testify that Season 18 was a huge step back in itself. Tho on the bright side, the fooken Cyberdudes came back after 7 years! GET HYPE!
- The season consisted of seven serials and twenty-six episodes airing on a bi-weekly schedule. Two milestones occurred in Earthshock. Firstly, the Cybermen returned, unannounced, for the first time since Revenge of the Cybermen in 1975. Secondly, for the first time since The Daleks' Master Plan which had aired in 1965 and 1966, a companion died. Other milestones included Black Orchid, the first non-science fictional historical serial since 1966's The Highlanders, and the destruction of the sonic screwdriver in The Visitation. A cliffhanger ending to the series appeared to have left Tegan stranded at Heathrow Airport with the Doctor abandoning her by mistake. Although the Doctor had spent most of the series trying to get Tegan back to Heathrow, which almost became a running theme.
