Nothing's been written about Mordin Solus yet! Maybe you'd like to be the first? Mordin Solus is a Salarian Scientist first introduced in Mass Effect 2. He runs a clinic on Omega, and was one of the Salaraians that helped forge the genophage. Mordin Solus is a salarian geneticist, professor, and a former operative of the Special Tasks Group, where he performed reconnaissance and participated in the modification of the genophage. In 2185, he is recruited by Commander Shepard to assist in a high-risk mission against the Collectors. Mordin has a moral character best described as consequentialistic, believing the ends justify the means, though he dislikes taking life without good cause. His actions are often guided by an impersonal logic, refusing to let his conscience, personal, and emotional connections cloud his judgment of what he believes is truly best in the big picture. Though he is affable, quick-talking and friendly, Mordin bears physical scars of his time in the STG and is still handling the consequences of his past. Auf seiner letzten Mission in der STG beschäftigte er sich mit der Genophage der Kroganer. Ursprünglich sollte das Team die Wachstumspopulation der Kroganer untersuchen, um zu sehen, ob die Genophage noch effektiv genug war. Wäre dies nicht der Fall gewesen, hätte das Team die Aufgabe gehabt mögliche Strategien für einen Präventivschlag gegen die Kroganer vorzubereiten, sollte sich die Population drastisch erhöht haben. Doch das Ziel der Studie änderte sich, als das Team entdeckte, dass die Kroganer bereits eine gewisse Immunität gegen die bereits vorhandene Genophage entwickelt hatten und sie in Begriff standen, sie zu überwinden. Nach langen Diskussionen beschloss das Team durch eine einstimmige Entscheidung eine neue, verbesserte Genophage zu erstellen, die, wie Mordin betont, die kroga
