Creating a Wiki for FoldIt is a big challenge, and one of the hardest parts about it is knowing what questions the players want answered. I thought I'd create this page so that people could ask questions, supply answers, and eventually those questions/answers could be spun off into pages of their own. So... feel free to ask and answer! 1. * Clashing 1. * Packing 1. * Hiding 1. * Bonding 1. * Sidechain 1. * Reference The overall score, segment score, or each element may be negative. How is score calculated? Everything has energy. The less energetic the protein is, the higher your score! The score for most puzzles is the sum of the scores for each individual segment. Further, the score for each individual segment (which can be found by placing the mouse pointer over a segment, then pressing TAB) consists of the sum of the following elements: 1. * Clashing 1. * Packing 1. * Hiding 1. * Bonding 1. * Sidechain 1. * Reference The overall score, segment score, or each element may be negative. Can past announcements at Fold.It be accessed, after they have expired from the main page? They're found in their super-top-secret location here. But some caveats apply before drawing too many conclusions (see the link for details). How do voids work? This is best covered in Can i view my current Achievement Points somewhere? On your personnal page , click on show details then show progress on
