  • Rose of the Desert is an ongoing story written by Kossage which depicts events taking place in Libaterra a little over a decade before the Yamatian Invasion and the rise of the Sultanate of Karaganda on the eve of the Libaterran Civil War in the Third Age. It tells the story of Belial de Ardyn, the new leader of the Order of the Black Rose in the aftermath of the Darkness Within story, and Razia al-Saif, the future Sultana of Vanna, how these two met and how events surrounding their intertwined fates would end up affecting later events in Libaterra and the world at large for years to come through their own actions and the actions of the people they had influenced, including the fates of their future children Sumrah Brown and Khalid al-Saif.
