Later that night before the Dominion exploded, Knighterriormon spoke a few words to Seraphimon, "Make the guardians of...light before I kill the world..., That's when his master disappeared in a dust of light. Beaten down, the dark creature was getting closer to where Seraphimon was in the Lab Dungeon. Seraphimon quickly made those lights which are referred to as crests of Yang. The creature came in and almost killed Seraphimon until Ophanimon and Cherubimon came to his rescue and escaped with the seven Yang. Later that night, The dark creature possessed dark magic and cursed the seven lights/crests with the seven dark wonders/crests of Yin. Seraphimon later rested his body in Oakland Springs before sending the lights to the Digidestineds. Ophanimon founded the Lightning Library and rested her dear old friend Cherubimon in Radiator Seas to "rest" and be brought back to life later on.
