- Pookie ist der Name eines Kaninchens, das das Haustier der Koopa Familie in den Nintendo Comics System-Comics veröffentlicht von den Valiant Comics ist. Pookies einziger Auftritt in der Comic-Serie war in der Geschichte "Bowser Knows Best". Pookie kann auf der ersten Seite des Comics, kauernd in seinem Käfig gesehen werden, während die Koopalinge aussuchen, was sie ihrem Vater, Bowser zum Vatertag schenken. Roy schlägt vor, dass Pookie ein passendes Geschenk für ihn wäre. Roy der gerade den Käfig mit Pookie schleppt, wird von Wendy mit gezehrt, um mit den anderen Prinzessin Toadstool zu entführen, Roy fällt durch Wendys zehren der Käfig runter, dieser wird dadurch zerstört. Befreit aus seinem Käfig, hüpft Pookie weg und kann ein paar mal gesehen werden, wie er durch Bowsers Festung wandert. Pookie erscheint später auf der letzten Seite des Comics, während Bowser abgelenkt ist, eine von Lemmy geschriebe hatte Karte zu lesen namens "Be Kind to Turtle Kid Day". Pookie gelingt es von seinen Besitzen zu entkommen, indem er aus einem Fenster herausspringt, kurz danach bemerkt Roy das Pookie nicht mehr da ist. 1.
