As of 2007, he is reportedly developing another Friday the 13th film with New Line Entertainment. His first stunt work and acting role was on the film Lone Wolf McQuade (1983; with Robert Beltran). He also portrayed Ed Gein in the film Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield (2007, with Michael Berryman).

- Standing at 6'3, Kane Hodder played Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th parts 7-Jason X and currently portrays Victor Crowley in the Hatchet series. He is the first actor to play the role of Jason more than once and is very dedicated to the character; many fans consider him the best because of this. He was originally going to portray Jason in the film Freddy vs. Jason the role and it was given to Canadian stuntman Ken Kirzinger. Despite all of this, Hodder and Kirzinger are still good friends.

He was originally going to portray Jason in the film Freddy vs. Jason the role and it was given to Canadian stuntman Ken Kirzinger. Hodder was claims they never gave him a reason for his replacement. Ronny Yu stated Freddy vs. Jason stated he the Kirzinger was chosen in part do to his height, as they wanted an Actor who towered over Robert Englund as well as having a slower more diliberate Jason, as opposed to the aggressive movements Hodder is known for brining to the role. Despite all of this, Hodder and Kirzinger are still good friends. Hodder says he'd do another Friday the 13th movie as Jason again if given the chance and currently enjoys playing Victor Crowley; he's played the role twice and will reprise a third time for the third installment this year.
