General Hermogenes C. Esperon, Jr. is a retired general and the former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the former Vice-Commander of Presidential Security Group. After retiring from the AFP, he was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process.
