OOM-27 was a OOM-series battle droid in the clone wars. He had independant thought and was trained by OOM-5 and served as his second-in-command. He was recognized by dark green markings on his body. After OOM-5's death, he took command of the remaining group and led them for the rest of the Clone Wars. His second-in-command became OOM-13-50. When the clone wars ended, most droids shut down, but since OOM-27 was independent, he remained online. He and 13-50 went their seperate ways, and he eventually settled down at Dantooine, planning his revenge on the empire. Five Years after the clone wars ended, a Rebel Alliance Captain arrived on Dantooine. OOM-27 agreed with the Rebels' purpose and joined the Rebel Alliance and was reunited with 13-50 at Hoth.
