Also, in an comic story entitled Sideshow Simpsons, Homer attempts to make a rec room in his basement. However, Marge explains to him that the head takes up too much room, and they attempt to sell it, which leads to disastrous results. At the end, Homer, who is convinced their bad luck in selling the head was due to the angry god, decides to make peace with it and keep it. It is also revealed that it has a coffee stain on its nose. Homer kept it in fear that Mr. Burns would drop by.
