The Grupo de Ações Táticas Especiais (Special Tactics Group Actions), GATE is a special operations group of the Military Police of São Paulo In Brazil. Created 1988, The GATE Military Police of São Paulo, is subject to 4th Battalion of Shock. Its emergence has come about through the former members of ROTA. The GATE is one of the most modern groups of Special Tactics of the country, focusing on his performance in high-risk situations such as hostage rescue, raids on slums and disarmament pumps. Currently has about 120 police tactical teams divided into six service plus supporting tables.
