  • Susan (Sue) Elizabeth Walker (born 14 September 1951) is a British-born Australian politician. She had been a Liberal member and then turned to Independent member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from June 2001 to September 2008, representing the electorate of Nedlands. A Liberal since 1978 and a former shadow Attorney General under Paul Omodei, she resigned from the party in 2008 and recontested her seat as an independent. Her reasons for leaving the party were the continued influence of both Brian Burke and Noel Crichton-Browne on decision making of the states major parties in her electorate. In the subsequent 2008 State Election, Walker was defeated by her replacement as Liberal candidate, Bill Marmion.
