In the Bible, Tamar (Hebrew: תָּמָר, Modern Tamar Tiberian Tāmār ; Date Palm, Armenian: Թամար) was twice the daughter-in-law of Judah, as well as the mother of two of his children, the twins Zerah and Pharez.
