Anteaus was one of the Nox. It was unknown but he likely the father OR in some cases something similar to husband of Lya. He healed SG-1 (except Teal'c) after their encounter with Apophis on Gaia. When SG-1 wanted to try and capture Apophis a second time, he stopped them and sent Apophis through the Stargate. During the whole episode he was enough sharp with SG-1 because, like the other Nox, he believed that SG-1 was only a group of assassins. However, at the end of the episode he learned that SG-1 was just an exploring team and they should have a chance to learn true ways.
