  • Paul Revere (1734 – 1818) was an American silversmith and a leading figure in the Sons of Liberty. In addition, he was a member of the Continental Congress and a participant in the Boston Tea Party. On 18 April 1775, Revere and Ratonhnhaké:ton rode throughout the night to alert Continental Army of approaching British Army forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord.
