The Ganpuku are mushi that infest the eyes, causing fantastic vision. At first, the vision given to the host is sharp but appears to be natural; over time, the host develops the ability to see unnatural distances, through objects, and eventually the past and future. When the mushi finally complete their takeover of the host's eyes, the eyes fall out and the mushi break free. They look like a flower when they are in the ground but worms when they escape through the eyes.
