Dzidzia(VMMF023) was born on November 1, 2004 to dominant female of the Moomins Mob, Grumpy, and her partner Burgan. Dzidzia was born with one sister, Regopstaan, and three brothers, Mapla Hamadryas, Mungo 3000 and Ayarbee. The entire litter survived to become juveniles, and Dzidzia became a big sister on March 25, 2005 when Grumpy bore Frida, Georgia, Kadinsky, Carvaggio, Rothko and Piscasso, all who survived to forage with the rest of the mob, although Dzidzia's younger brother Caravaggio disappeared in youth. Grumpy gave birth to another litter on December 15, 2005 to four pups: Fluffernutter, Rocky, Penn and Mich, who also survived, as did Grumpy's next litter; Grumpy's production of prolific litters did well in assisting the Moomins in growing quickly, but then her partner Burgan died

Dzidzia's older brother Toft took dominance, however could not breed with his mother. In November of 2007 the mob split with Dzidzia and other members disappearing and vanished from the study area. The last group of six females were joined by four wild males.
