| - Qui-Gon Jinn was a male Jedi Master and former master of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker; however, his training with Anakin was brief. He was also the apprentice of Dooku, who left the order shortly after Qui-Gon earned his knighthood. Qui-Gon was most known among his peers for his four principles to being a Jedi, which he would teach to his pupils. He was also credited with discovering Anakin on Tatooine and teaching Obi-Wan how to perform his amazing Jedi back flip. Qui-Gon traveled throughout the Galaxy for the Jedi Council. It was during his mission to Byss with fellow friend, Frank, Qui-Gon came across a secret organization who influenced major factions in order to establish their control of the Galaxy. Qui-Gon dubbed this organization the Culprits. He spoke with the Jedi Council and was appointed to root out and bring to justice the organization. It was this that cause Qui-Gon to take Obi-Wan as his apprentice. He traveled with Obi-Wan to a Trade Federation control ship, which was the last known location of one of the culprits. While searching for the culprit, they overheard a plot to invade of Naboo. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan traveled to Naboo, to halt the peace treaty, which would give the culprits more power. To do so, they kidnapped Queen Padmé Amidala, and took her to Tatooine. Once on Tatooine, they discovered a young slave boy, named Anakin Skywalker. Taking Anakin with them, Qui-Gon returned to Naboo to defeat the Trade Federation and stop the peace treaty from happening. Shortly afterwards, Qui-Gon handed Anakin off to his apprentice, Obi-Wan, who had just earned his knighthood, and disappeared for a period of time. He kept an eye on Obi-Wan, Anakin, and, eventually, Anakin’s son, Luke Skywalker. He returned from his self-imposed exile in 4 ABY to apprehend Darth Sidious for being a part of the Culprits.
