- Claus (クラウス Kurausu) is a fictional character in the 2006 Game Boy Advance video game Mother 3. He is another boy from Tazmily Village, and the older twin brother of Lucas. Claus looks very similar to Lucas other than his different hair color and different color clothes, though he is energetic and far more courageous than Lucas. He is last seen by the player lying motionless beyond Mt. Oriander, although the residents of Tazmily are never made aware of this. It is not clarified that Claus lives until the end of the eighth chapter, where it is revealed he is being exploited for his ability to use the elusive PK Love by Pokey Minch.
- During the portion of the game when you do not yet know that he is Claus, he is referred to as "The Masked Man."
- Claus is an assassin who appears in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981). Working for Aris Kristatos and under the supervision of his chief enforcer, Locque, he attempts to murder Bond in the Italian ski resort of Cortina. He is later part of the squad which murders Lisl. The character is portrayed by Charles Dance.
- Claus is the cameraman hired by Lars to film the DJ X vampire slaying mission. He is the man with the beard and the red hat pictured at right. Claus survives the island raid.
- The older of twin brothers living in Tazmily Village in the Nowhere Islands. In the game, he is shown to be far more courageous than his brother, even going as far as to find and kill the beast that killed his mother. He was found by the Pigmask Army and brainwashed to serve under Porky Minch. He hunted the Seven Needles, oftentimes crossing swords with his brother, Lucas. In the end, he died, but he is going to make an appearance at Smash Wars regardless.
- Claus is a non-player character who works for the Carnillean Family as a cook.

- Claus is a character exclusive to the Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 anime series, who lives in a village that the Elric brothers visit at the start of the anime during their flashback. When they first meet her, she is rude and acts like a tomboy who wishes to avenge her sister's death after she was killed by one of the Karin zombies. She briefly tries to persuade Ed to help her, but Ed rejects her, saying he doesn't want her to pursue revenge. She antagonizes him again, and tries to attack one of the Karin golems, only to be saved from it by the village alchemist, Majhal. In fact, Claus's older sister had been one of Majhal's first victims in his deluded hope to bind the soul of Karin to a mannequin made to look like the young flower seller. - Claus is the deuteragonist-turned-secondary antagonist-turned-central antagonist from Mother 3. He is a cyborg who is the commander of Porky Minch's Pigmask Army, as well as the twin brother of Lucas (the main protagonist of the game). He is actually controlled directly by Porky Claus set to work pulling the Needles on Porky's behalf, but it would seem that Claus had neither good nor evil intentions, as the Magypsies, guardians of the Needles, noted that the puller seemed to have no heart.
- Claus (クラウス, Klaus in the North American version of Brawl) is a major character in Mother 3. He is a boy from Tazmily Village, and the energetic twin of Lucas. Claus looks very similar to Lucas other than the different colors of his clothing and hair, though he is energetic and far more courageous than Lucas. He is last seen by the player lying motionless near the Drago Plateau, although the residents of Tazmily are never made aware of this.
