| - It would have been a much shorter story. Plus maybe his power and skill were'nt where they needed be or he wanted to find out what Aizen wanted to do and then wanted to kill him when his guard was down. It's not exactly easy to kill Aizen. Firstly, Gin had to be certain that Aizen hadn't activated hypnosis. I.e. he had to be sure that he's actually grabbing Aizen's sword and not just thinking he's grabbing Aizen's sword. Indeed, given Aizen's power, even if Gin sneaked into Aizen's room while he was sleeping, there was no guarantee that wasn't an illusion. Gin had to wait for the right moment. On top of that the right moment had to be after Aizen betrayed Soul Society because before Aizen betrayed Soul Society, Aizen was a respected captain and had Gin killed him, Gin would have ended up in front of Central 46 and bound for execution. On top of that, let's not forget the Tosen factor. Tosen was loyal through and through to Aizen. Tosen would not have hesitated throwing himself between Gin's blade and Aizen nor hesitate to kill Gin if he got even a whiff that Gin was attempting to kill Aizen. In short, I am sure Gin would have loved to kill Aizen sooner rather then later and get on with his life. But its easier said then done. Just because he knew Aizen's zanpakuto secret didn't mean that he could use that secret to his advantage any time he liked. I mean, if it really had been that easy, then I am sure Gin would have shanked Aizen ages ago.
