Mayalique (/ˌmaɪ.əˈliːk/, Chell for "perfection") was a high-end cosmetics company headquartered on Classaeria in the Golden Empire. Founded and run in large part by Classaeria's native Jubill, it manufactured a wide range of makeup and skincare products, as well as perfumes. Mayalique received some criticism from Humans and other client species because of its tendency to use Jubill as models. The critics alleged that doing so promoted an unrealistic standard of beauty to impressionable young women of other species, and also amounted to a sort of false advertising.

  • Mayalique (/ˌmaɪ.əˈliːk/, Chell for "perfection") was a high-end cosmetics company headquartered on Classaeria in the Golden Empire. Founded and run in large part by Classaeria's native Jubill, it manufactured a wide range of makeup and skincare products, as well as perfumes. Mayalique's products were often very expensive, and so it catered to a more well-to-do clientele than other cosmetics companies such as Hephary Beauty Solutions. It also catered distinctly to Near-Humans, although Mayalique's developers expanded their range of makeup colors to include shades of green (for Doloy), blue (for Iscali and Chiss), and even red (hoping to market to Queen Rin Sakaros). Mayalique received some criticism from Humans and other client species because of its tendency to use Jubill as models. The critics alleged that doing so promoted an unrealistic standard of beauty to impressionable young women of other species, and also amounted to a sort of false advertising.
