The breckland of Tol Britha was fairly flat "open uninhabited" terrain, but there was a danger of encountering patches of quicksand. Also, this is uninhabited land. Within the Midden (Medinnen) the terrain was "Rough", in parts, especially between the Nog Mennin and the Onodló, and overgrown, the best way to get around was in boats.
