Yutaka Abe (阿部豊 Abe Yutaka) born February 2, 1895 in Miyagi was a Japanese film director and actor. He began acting in Hollywood as "Jackie Abe", and later returned to Japan as a director. He directed the 1950 film adaptation of Jun'ichirō Tanizaki's The Makioka Sisters. He died January 3rd, 1977, in Kyoto.
