Woody Gauld (1915 - 1978) was a American-Lovian jazz composer, arranger, bandleader and trumpeter. He led the Noble City Blues Band from 1944 to 1946 and from 1960 to 1961. When Gauld became deaf in 1961/1962, he abandoned his music career. Gauld deceased in 1978 on a visit to his native Michigan.
