| - Squishy ist ein Gegner der zum ersten mal in Kirby's Dream Land auftrat und auch in vielen anderen Kirby-Titeln vertreten ist. Dieser weiße Tintenfisch besitzt vorne drei bis vier kurze Tentakel, während sich ganz rechts und links je ein langer Tentakel befindet. Squishy kann sich nicht nur im Wasser sondern auch an Land fortbewegen und auch sehr hoch springen. Eine weitaus hartnäckigere Form von Squishy ist der Oktopus Flotzo.

- In MMORPG slang, a character is said to be squishy if he or she does not withstand enemy attacks well. This is the opposite of being considered tanky. In EverQuest, Both squishiness and tankiness are relative terms - even a magician (arguably the most vulnerable class in the entire game when it comes to withstanding melee damage) can endure the damage output of mobs many levels below him or her. Some otherwise squishy classes become much more durable when using short-term emergency tanking abilities, with high-level enchanters being probably the starkest example of how different a class's.durability can be with the right buffs active.
- Squishys (Squishy Squids in Kirby's Pinball Land) are squid-like enemies that have been around since the first Kirby game. They provide no ability when inhaled. In the main games, Squishy is a typical undersea enemy that swims around and occasionally hops out of the water. Once on dry land, they can walk around unscathed, a trait which separates them from other water-based foes. In the Extra Game of Kirby's Dream Land, Squishy is replaced by Flotzo.

- Squishy (Squishy Squids en Kirby's Pinball Land, スクイッシー Sukuisshī en japonés) es un enemigo recurrente de los juegos de Kirby. Tuvo su primera aparición en Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land, y posteriormente apareció en Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Avalanche, Kirby's Block Ball, Kirby: Pesadilla en Dream Land, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby Mass Attack, Kirby's Return to Dream Land y Kirby y el Laberinto de los Espejos. También realiza una aparición en el episodio 73 de Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. No proporciona ninguna habilidad al ser inhalado.

The antonym of a squishy is a "tank". Based on armor, Elementalists, Monks, Ritualists, Necromancers, and Mesmers are mostly deemed the "squishy" professions.
