Remington is a division of the Georgeland House of Commons, named for the north-western district of New Kikipolis, Capitalia, in which it is located. The seat was first created in 1962. Remington is a working-class seat, and the constituency was held by a Labour member from its creation until 1999, when Sharon Healy won the seat for the new United Islands Liberal Party. Healy still holds the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
