Snap Dragons is a type of plant that captures others either for transportation or carnivorous intent. In "Stop And Smurf The Roses", Chlorhydris conjured up a Snap Dragon in the forest to aid her in capturing Laconia and destroying all flowers. This Snap Dragon could suck in creatures and objects at one end and spit them out of its other head which was located at Chlorhydris' castle. After Chlorhydris' plans were foiled, Papa Smurf used her corrupted wand to destroy all Snap Dragons once and for all.

In "Smurfette Unmade", Gargamel made a fake Snap Dragon trap to capture Smurfette, although this one looked nothing like the carnivorous or non-carnivorous flower. In "Smurf Pet", a new kind of Snap Dragons were seen being grown by Gargamel's apprentice Scruple. He wanted show off these plants at his old school's science fair in order to get out of his apprenticeship with Gargamel. In "All The News That's Fit To Smurf", Giant Snap Dragons are shown to reside within Creepy Deepy Canyon and are the protectors of the Super Smurfberries. The only thing that can defeat these Giant Snap Dragons is the legendary Rainbow Rock, which fortunately Clumsy had in his rock collection.
