(ST comic: "Debt of Honor") Wetherell's rank insignia most resembles that worn by a lieutenant junior grade, but she was identified in dialogue as a commander; presumably, the abstract insignia was intended to convey only an impression of insignia. The insignia of a full commander is shown, but there exists a possibility the rank being referred to was actually lieutenant commander.
