Shadowfolk are a group of Makai Knights and Priests from the White District, trained in the art of stealth, spying, and assassination. Essentially, they are the ninja/black ops of the Makai Order who act as intelligence operatives and occasional bodyguards to other Makai Knights. Unlike regular members of the Makai Order, their gear consists of ninja based weapons such as shurikens in addition to the standard Madou Lighters and Makai Blades. They also use some cruder methods compared to the other districts for operating, such as using the Makai Beast Barg to purify their blades in a ceremony rather than use the aid of a Watchdog.
