But Yen Sid told the two friends that there was danger in The Pridelands. They gazed into the wizard's crystal ball. Some of Hook's Pirates are hunting in the jungles looking for Simba and his friends. Yen Sid sent Rita (magically) to the jungle to find Simba.

Rita followed The Overtakers who had captured Timon and Pumbaa. Rita sneaked up and freed the two - only to find themselves floating down a river and away from The Pirates. Although Pumbaa and Timon are back with Simba and his pride - Yen Sid magically brought Rita back to The Forest. Pooh looked at Rita and smiled as he said Friends stick together to the end.
