Shinden Yuisho was a small Lion temple just past the path of death, in the Spirit Realm of Yomi. It was slowly constructed by the sodan-senzo upon the initial concept of Kitsu Hariko's dreams. Several centuries passed before the temple was completed near the end of the 7th century. The Kitsu often visited it when they guided lost souls to their destinations, as its sight eased the trauma of death, making the transition easier.
