Henry Burslem (1790 - 11 June 1866) was a civil servant, magistrate and local politician active in the Paddington area. Born in Hanbury, Worcestershire, he was the son of Rector of the parish, William Burslem. He received a post in the Paymaster General's Department and moved to Kensington Garden Terrace, Paddington. By 1851 he was retired and he became a magistrate for Middlesex and a prison visitor.

Born in Hanbury, Worcestershire, he was the son of Rector of the parish, William Burslem. He received a post in the Paymaster General's Department and moved to Kensington Garden Terrace, Paddington. By 1851 he was retired and he became a magistrate for Middlesex and a prison visitor. A member of the Friends of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, he was elected to the Paddington Vestry created by the Metropolis Management Act 1855 and at the first meeting was chosen as the parish's representative on the Metropolitan Board of Works, being the only candidate nominated. He resigned his seat on the Metropolitan Board in January 1859.
