Nicolas Dexter "Nick" Procopides (1923 – 1 July 1985) worked for Century 21 as a camera operator in addition to being a union representative for the effects unit.. He was believed by model-maker Alan Shubrook to have been the person who tore up the latter's clocking in card, telling him that it is what they do with them. This happened on Shubrook's first day working for Century 21. Several weeks later, Procopides became angry with Shubrook for working both overtime (without permission) and for nothing (in regards to the latter reason, technically Shubrook was not going to get paid for the time he spent working overtime—the reason for why he did what he did was because he enjoyed his work).
