| - Winant was born in Santa Monica, California, USA to actor H.M. Wynant and casting director/producer Ethel Winant. He is the brother of producer and director Scott Winant and musician William Winant. Since 1984, Winant is the co-owner and voice casting director of the New York based looping company Loopers Unlimited. Winant earned a BFA from the United States International University School of Performing Arts and has been worked in several award winning stage plays including "The Phantom of the Opera", "Miss Saigon", "Chicago", "Ragtime", "Les Miserables", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "La Cage aux Folles". As an actor, he was featured in episodes of Greatest Heroes of the Bible (1978-1979, with John McLiam, Peter Mark Richman, Frank Gorshin, and Granville Van Dusen), Eischied (1979, with Alan Oppenheimer and Darleen Carr), T.J.
