- 'Ratonhnhaké:ton, meglio conosciuto come Connor, è stato Assassino coloniale appartenente alla tribù nativa americana dei Kanien'kehá:ka. Inoltre egli era il capitano dellAquila, una nave da guerra appartenente all'Ordine degli Assassini. Nato nel 1756 dall'unione del Templare Haytham Kenway e della nativa americana Kaniehti:io, Ratonhnhaké:ton crebbe insieme alla madre nel villaggio natio di quest'ultima. A soli cinque anni, vide sua madre morire per via di un incendio al villaggio, causato da un gruppo di Templari capeggiati da Charles Lee. Rimasto orfano, Ratonhnhaké:ton crebbe sviluppando un intenso desiderio di libertà per il suo popolo e per le colonie americane. Anni dopo, Ratonhnhaké:ton compì un viaggio spirituale, che lo portò al cospetto di Giunone, un membro della Prima Civilizzazione. Tale esperienza lo spinse a compiere un viaggio per unirsi all'Ordine degli Assassini, con lo scopo di liberare i nativi americani e le colonie dalla tirannia dei Templari, ma anche di vendicare la morte di sua madre.
