  • Dennis J. "Denny" O'Neil is an American writer. O'Neil held the position of Group Editor for the "Batman family" titles at DC for many years. O'Neil is best known for his collaborations with artist Neal Adams in the early 70's. The tone of these stories were much closer to what modern fans expect out of Batman stories. Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins were created during this time.
  • Denny O'Neil was a comic book writer and editor until his retirement, known mostly for his involvement with Batman. When Hasbro approached Marvel Comics to develop a story for their Transformers toyline, he and Jim Shooter came up with the initial story treatment. Denny O'Neil named Optimus Prime. However, Hasbro rejected many of their proposed character names and some of the concepts, so their duties were passed down to Bob Budiansky.
  • Green Lantern/Green Arrow Collection - Volume 2 in 2005. He also wrote the novelizations of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
