Dr Lewis G Hunt (c.1852-1928) was a surgeon and local politician active in the Richmond area. A native of Sheffield, Yorkshire, where he was a magistrate for the city and president of the Sheffield Medico-Chirurgical Society. He moved to Richmond in the Surrey suburbs of London and became a member of Richmond Borough Council, holding the office of Mayor of Richmond twice, in 1915-16 and 1918-19.
