HistoryText
| - Barry Penge was a ruthless businessman from Mega-City One who trademarked the slogans "Don't be a shark, be a great white shark" and "I smell blood in the business waters." As a branding exercise he spliced his own DNA with that of a shark, becoming effectively a humanoid shark himself.
Renaming himself Enormo Overdrive, he became the CEO of Overdrive Inc., a company which amongst other things owned all the oxygen manufactured on Luna 1. Overdrive secretly went into partnership with Judge Carolyn Bachmann, head of the Justice Department's Black-Ops division, who illegally channelled him Justice Department funds, and they developed a plan to secretly build a giant floating city on a crater of the Moon. Bachmann intended to conquer Mega-City One with the aid of a fake religion she had invented and then move Luna 2 into position above it, an overcity for her elite while the original city would be inhabited by those she considered unworthy.
The slightly deranged undercover Judge Dirty Frank infiltrated Luna 2 in the guise of a rich shareholder and managed to hack the Overdrive Inc. computer system, making it believe that he and not Overdrive was now the majority shareholder. A furious Overdrive attacked Frank again on discovering this, and was on the point of killing him when a squad of Judges arrived and shot the shark man dead. Dirty Frank caused Luna 2 to crash into the polluted waters of the Black Atlantic.

Notes
| - Enormo Overdrive appeared in Trifecta, a three way crossover between the 2000 AD strips Judge Dredd, Low Life and The Simping Detective. The names of the crossover's three villains, Overdrive, Carolyn Bachmann and Archmime Turner are a deliberate nod to the legendary rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
