Jonathan Patrick Foo was born in London in 1982 and is of Irish-Chinese decent. He has one younger sister and two elder half sisters. Growing up, his family moved house quite often, staying in and around north west London where Jon began his martial arts training. At 22, Jon was invited to Hong Kong to join the Jackie Chan stunt team, where he got to train and work with some of the top performers in action cinema, including the world-renowned action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping.
