As such, he doesn't plan anything major, only to bide for time where he can, while the Reich calls up the reserves and gets into full war economy. The war goes on for a few more months, with the Americans making slow progress toward Germany, when time goes to work on the side of the U.S. Fascist Spain, which has been under assault by American forces ever since the fall of Vichy France, defects from the Axis over to the Allies. This frees up a large amount of U.S. forces for operations against Germany and its allies. The American forces freed up were used to launch an offensive not into Germany, but into Italy. This has the effect of making Italy drop out of the war, although German forces move into Italy and seize the country, bringing Italy onto the American side. With Germany surrounded on another side, Reich forces are spread thinner than before, and another Soviet offensive isn't making things easier. This time the Soviets seize Moscow and are running rampant through the Ukraine. The time is right for the endgame against the Third Reich. From which side will the killing blow fall?
